Rev. Dan K.
Davis is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with
a degree in Secondary Education. Upon completion of his teaching
degree he became associate pastor and Principal of Brooklyn Heights
Baptist Church and Christian School in Americus, Georgia. Bro.
Dan served for five years as an associate pastor and was then called
as the Senior Pastor in 1986. Bro. Dan served as Senior Pastor
until 1999 when he accepted the call to Bethel Baptist Church in
Cartersville Georgia. Following the clear leading of the Lord,
Bro. Dan resigned as Pastor from Bethel in January 2006 to follow the
Lord’s leading to join us at Val Verde Baptist church. Bro. Dan has
been married to Nancy since June of 1975 and they have four sons. |

- Rev. John Ortiz
- Spanish /Bus Pastor

Rev. John
Ortiz is a graduate of Midwestern Baptist College and has been on
staff since February 2003. Bro. Ortiz leads our Bus and Spanish
Ministry, as well as overseas all of our maintenance needs. Bro.
John is a tireless worker with a true servant’s heart.

Anna Rambin

Ann Rambin has been an integral
part of
Val Verde
Baptist Church for over thirty years.
As the
Financial Secretary, her accuracy and attention to detail enable her
to manage our financial needs with integrity and skill.
Dr. Jack Bier, a church review professional, said that in reviewing
over 500 Independent Baptist churches over the past 30 years, Mrs.
Rambin is one of the best he has ever worked with.
Ms.
Rambin was married to the late Mr.
Ernest
Rambin
and has four grown children, several
grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Donna Mason
Church Secretary |
Donna Mason
has been a member of Val Verde Baptist Church since September 2001.
Donna is a registered nurse who has worked in a variety of health care
fields. She was a supervisor with a home health care company until
August of 2005 when she felt the Lord leading her to step out on faith
and join us as the church secretary. Mrs. Donna is a tireless worker
with a tremendous spirit.
Donna has three grown daughters and numerous grandchildren.

Rebecca Callis
Special Projects Coordinator |
| Mrs. Rebecca
Callis is our Special Projects Coordinator. Her duties include
assisting with big days, promotions, and events, as well as
maintaining our church database and reporting. Growing up as a
“preacher’s kid,” Mrs. Rebecca has an intimate knowledge of what the
ministry is about and is a valuable asset to our team. The Callis’
have three children Samuel, Phillip, and Emily Ruth. |
